Ingredients for the delicious cheese soup

You need: 200 grams of Gruyère or cheese of your choice, 30 grams of flour, 250 milliliters of white wine, 500 milliliters of vegetable stock, 500 milliliters of milk, 200 milliliters of whipped cream, 50 grams of butter, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, 2 slices of farmhouse bread, grated nutmeg, salt and pepper, who likes: 100 grams of bacon

And this is how the Blitz cheese soup is made:

1. First make a roux. To do this, melt the butter in a pan, then add the flour and stir everything with a whisk until a creamy mass. Then deglaze with the white wine. Gradually add milk and broth and mix everything evenly with a whisk. Finally add the cream. Now taste everything with salt, pepper, garlic and nutmeg.

2. Now let everything simmer for about two minutes. Meanwhile, coarsely grate the cheese. Gradually add the cheese of your choice to the soup. Simmer for five to six minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Cut the bread slices into cubes and fry them in oil until golden brown. Cut the bacon into small pieces and saute in a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter until crispy. Then drain everything on kitchen paper. Serve the soup with the bread cubes and the fried bacon. Finish!
